Now in high school as a Freshman, I'm doing great! I've already achieved some of my goals:
- Become one of the class officers (SECRETARY!!!)
- Join the J.R.O.T.C. program. (I'm a Private, soon to be Corporal)
My goal in the program is to become the Task Force Commander. My sister nor my brother have reached this rank, so it motivates me to do better than them. As for being the secretary of the Freshmans, I just have to show up to meetings, take notes and the attendance. This position is easy-peasy. ;)
I've made lots of new friends, but I still miss my old ones. I have one friend who is like BEYOND the "weird" limit. She's awesome, funny, huggable!
What it's like at my school:
What it's like at my school:
- There's SO much drama!
- There are so many crews (the crews are based on which village they live in)
- Everyone has a place to chill with friends.
- Students call other students "N.F" if you're a loner. (No friend)
- A lot of fighting goes on. (football players are involved in most of them)
- No respect for the world teachers. Some respect them, though.
- Seniors love power.
First period: Algebra 1
Second period: General Science(I had low scores from elementary, so they put me in this class)
Third period: English 124
Fourth period: World Geography
Fifth period: J.R.O.T.C(ECHO company rules!!)
Sixth period: Health/P.E.
What's cool about my schedule is that I don't have to worry about being late to class because they're not that far away. In first period, we played a game to break the ice. We say our names and 3 things about you(one lie and 2 true things), then the class has to guess which one's the lie. My 3 things:
1). My favorite subject is Samoan
2). I'm weird
3). I'm clumsy
The lie? #1. I suck at Samoan!
For general science, we introduced ourselves. We skipped third period because the bell rang late. For my fourth, fifth, and sixth period- introductions. I said the same things over and over and over and over and...... *sigh*
I had so much trouble finding my classes. The only class that was easy to find was my sixth period. Because... it's in the gym! Lol. As for my other classes, I went up to random people and asked, "*points to the class on my schedule* do you know where this class is?".
My friends on the first day are seniors. My brother's a senior, so he introduced me to his friends. On that day, I was N.F., so my brother and his friends came over to accompany me. On the second day of school, I made some friends. I met my best friend in English class. We have so much in common! Sometimes, we'd say things simultaneously, and laugh out loud, then other people would be like, "Hey! Shut up!".
Haha! I'll never forget my first day. :)
